I’m Kacy (Kanwal Chaudhry), and am running to be your Full-Time Officer because I believe in the power of student leadership to drive real change. Over the years, I have worked tirelessly to improve student representation, support academic success, and create inclusive spaces where every voice is heard.

From Class Representative to the Chair of the Student Voice Committee, I have progressively taken on leadership roles that have allowed me to advocate for students at every level. As a Department Representative, I ensured that student concerns were addressed in policy decisions, and as a Student Study Abroad Ambassador, I worked to promote global opportunities available to all students. My experience in quality assurance panels, student mentoring, and committee leadership has equipped me with the skills to negotiate, collaborate, and implement policies that truly benefit students.

When elected, I will focus on:

✅ Cost of Living Support – Push for cheaper food options, better student discounts, and increased hardship funding to support those struggling financially.

✅ Better Communication & Representation – Ensure students know who to contact for help, demand faster responses from the university, and make Students’ Association decisions more transparent.

✅ Mental Health & Wellbeing – Work to reduce counselling wait times, introduce peer support networks, and create more relaxation and quiet spaces on campus.

✅ Campus Facilities & Study Spaces – Advocate for more inclusive study spaces, and improved library resources to support student success.

I am committed to making a tangible difference for every student. I have spent my time at university listening, understanding, and taking action, and I will continue to champion your rights and fight for your needs. Let’s build a stronger, more supportive student experience together!
