My name is Ebenezer Adegoke (BEN)
I am a final year master’s degree student in Finance, Accounting, and Regulations
I started my master’s program in the year 2024, and since then, Glasgow Caledonia University has become my inspiration.
I am the mature students’ representative of the year 2024/2025. Member of RCF GCU, Lions Club International, I also engaged in interactive student events and support programs.

- Intensifying the awareness campaign of the core values of GCU and increasing the visibility of the importance of student association to all students even before their arrival.
- Making Student welfare a priority through quality representation, accountability, and robust engagement.
- Expanding the students' variety of events, and cultural weeks to be educative and truly promote students’ social lives, diversity, and inclusion.
- Regular online & onsite meetings to urgently address students' unique needs through a complaint/suggestion 24/7 platform.
- To improve academic support in each school for both new and challenged students on specific courses is more inclusive.
- Pushing for mature student community learning techniques for adults and more support to balance study, work, and family.
- Improving the UK colleges/Universities' sports competitions, where skills can be harnessed for agency requirements.
- Engaging the University authority on how more entrepreneurs and captains of industries can be attracted for career opportunities.
- Ensuring priority to our physically challenged students’ needs is sacrosanct.
- Engaging the University management to improve on how to make GCU the University of choice for students from other continents.
- Improving the usage of the Student Library and the association’s library
- Ensuring all meetings are duly attended and the students’ voices are heard,
- Consulting with the school management on the need for cheaper parking spaces.
- Ensuring we have more hygiene and more friendly washrooms in the uni.
