Who Am I?
I’m Blessing Agboifo, a Master’s student in Public Health, passionate about inclusive leadership, student empowerment, and transformative change. I have actively worked to promote equity, student welfare, and academic excellence, and I am ready to serve as your GCU SA President, ensuring every student’s voice is heard and valued.
Why Am I Running?
University life should be more than academics—it should be a fulfilling experience where all students feel supported, represented, and empowered. I will work tirelessly to ensure GCU remains student-centered, inclusive, and progressive, helping every student thrive academically, socially, and professionally.
My Priorities
1. Academic Excellence & Support
• Advocate for flexible learning, lecture recordings, and extended library hours.
• Enhance mental health and academic support services.
• Improve grading transparency and faculty-student communication.
2. Student Welfare & Well-being
• Strengthen mental health services and financial support.
• Advocate for affordable housing and better student job opportunities.
• Ensure accessibility for all students, including those with disabilities.
3. Career Development & Employability
• Establish stronger industry connections, internships, and paid placements.
• Organize career fairs and mentorship programs.
4. Inclusion & Community Engagement
• Foster diversity, cultural inclusion, and stronger student societies.
5. Sustainability & Campus Improvement
• Push for eco-friendly policies.
6. Transparency & Student Engagement
• Implement regular town halls and greater student involvement in decision-making.
