Many times have I experienced questioning and rude comments when I asked for alternative milk, vegan options etc. Today somebody scoffed when she mentioned halal food which is totally unacceptable!! I am not halal but I at least am aware it is a religious dietary requirement and should never be mentioned in a rude manner by any canteen staff.

Food needs to be more clearly labelled, an allergen book for students to look at. More options catering to diets available!!

There was a lovely vegan croissant in the Annie Lenox building last term and now it no longer exists the only vegan food option is a £3.70 sandwhich or just plain chips as none of the staff know if the gravy/curry is vegan! Please educate your staff as you are a University for "the greater good" well the greater good is protecting our planet and animals.
