Kevin is Vice-Chair of the Board, appointed in May 2025.
He graduated from GCU in 2016 with a BSc (Hons) in Podiatric Medicine. A former Student President and Chair of the Board, serving between 2016-2018. During his time as President he developed a deep passion for the work of the Students' Association and the impact it has on the lives of students at GCU.
After his term in office ended, Kevin went on to work in a number of clinical posts within the NHS and private practice before founding the worlds first social business in Podiatry, The People’s Podiatry, reinvesting profits back into local communities and making a real tangible impact on the lives of people not just locally, but internationally through reinvestment projects across the globe.
Kevin brings a wealth of experience in strategic planning, a keen eye for detail, negotiation and diplomacy as well as a background in mentoring and coaching and values based leadership to the board.
After returning to GCU to complete an MSc in Podiatry Surgery and subsequently mentoring a number of GCU students, he felt the time was right to return to the Students' Association and utilise his knowledge, skills & experience to support the next generation of elected officers and trustees to continue the incredible work of the Association.
He is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, a member of the Royal College of Podiatry and The Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Glasgow and a member of the FIFA Medical Network.
All students at Glasgow Caledonian University are automatically members of GCU Students' Association.
