Beyond Bea - Baby Brevement Thurs -9-5

The Nursing Society is pleased to announce that we have secured funding to conduct two exceptional training sessions aimed at supporting pediatric nurses in addressing child bereavement. These sessions will take place over two days and will provide valuable resources and guidance for professionals in this critical area of care. Please note this is a sensitive topic, but a very valuable one in the field.

One of Beyond Bea & CuddleCot expert team members will deliver your training day in collaboration with 4Louis. They will provide a wide range of resources to create an interactive learning experience mixed with information, scenarios and hands-on learning with our resources.  We will adapt to suit the needs of the attendees and will typically cover what is listed below:

The day is suitable for up to 50 attendees and they will each receive a CuddleCot pack containing resources to support their learning.

The agenda will include:

  • Definitions and terminology related to baby and child loss

  • Scenario based learning specific to the disciplines of those attending
  • Signs of Life and babies born before the age of “viability”
