Annual General Meeting

The time of year has come again, where we reflect on what has been and importantly where the club is going. It will conclude with a pub social afterwards.

 

This will take place in room W110.

 

This will also include the vote on next years committee, so it is recommended you attend so that you can vote! 

 

If you wish to apply for re-election/election for a position on the committee, please contact Sam Trombley via direct email (provided in the WhatsApp posts regarding the AGM) as official notice of your intention to stand for election (including the following information: name, position you are applying for, GCU email address, mobile number, student ID number). If it is a position you have not held before you will recieve an email back with what is required in the role and final confirmation of your application, you will then be added to the ballot card upon your final confirmation.

 

Positions up for re-election/election are:

• President
• Vice-President
• Treasurer
• Secretary
• Social Secretary
• Equipment/Gear Secretary
   

ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY WEDNESDAY 12TH MARCH AT 5PM, YOU WILL NOT BE ADDED TO THE BALLOT IF IT IS AFTER THIS.

 

To attend the AGM you must:

- Be a full member of the club

- Purchase a free ticket for this event

 

It is important to turn up on time so that the meeting can run smoothly and allow the voting process to take place in a timely manner. It will begin immediately at 18:00.
