GCU ATHLETICS & RUNNING CLUB 

The Athletics club at GCU offers something for everyone. We strive to be an inclusive club and will never turn anyone away no matter your ability as we host no trials. You are free to come and go as you please, with no obligation to attend every training session or event. Your first training event is completely free, allowing you to decide if you wish to return or not- if you’d like to return then membership MUST be purchased for insurance purposes.

If you're willing to take part in competitions, we compete all over the UK, throughout the entire year. Competing in events run by Scottish Athletics, Scottish University Athletics and British University Athletics, which range from London to the Isle of Man. 

We pride ourselves on our socials at GCU Athletics. Our Social Captains are always on hand planning the next event, which can range from our traditional 'Bright and Tight' sub crawl to Bring a Dish. Most competitions we take part in also host a large social event after. We are also proudly sponsored by the Merchant, who treat us very well for all of our socials!

Our membership this year costs just £15, which we feel is great value for money and has many benefits...
