Liam Ross, BA (Hons) Multimedia Journalism
How did you first get involved?
I had been writing for The EDIT, the Student Magazine, for around 2 years. We were always advised by lecturers to write for the student magazine and I am very glad I did. I then became the News and Features Editor. It was easy to become a contributor through the Students' Association website.
Why did you decide to get involved?
I wanted to write about issues that affect students everyone and give myself a platform to kickstart my career by writing for a real publication.
What difference has it made to your university experience being involved?
Being part of The EDIT has enhanced my time here at GCU as I've been able to add this to my CV along with my academic subjects and make new friends along the way. I'd also like to think that with my role I am able to help other students get their writing recognised.
