Hey Superstars!
It's Black History Month, and we’re celebrating all the incredible things that make Black culture pop —from our creativity to the vibrancy that runs through everything you do. Whether it’s our resilient spirit, the wins of heroes past, fierce sense of community, or the beautiful way we embrace the world, our beautiful hair in all shapes, styles, waves and lengths! there’s so much to be proud of.
Speaking of hair—shout out to everyone who came through for our free haircuts and braids sessions in partnership with Strathclyde Union! It was amazing seeing students get pampered and rock their new looks. Special thanks to our volunteer barbers Olaitan & Kenny who happily made students feel coool. Don't worry if you missed it, we’ve still got plenty more happening this month!
Mark your calendars: on October 29th, we’ve got a career event lined up in collaboration with the University’s Careers team. This is a chance to network, get inspired, and plan your future, so make sure you don’t miss out on information shared about it soon.
Black History Month is about honoring our past, but it’s also about celebrating the beauty and strength we continue to show every day. Let’s keep that energy going—there’s nothing quite like being part of a community that lifts each other up.
Keep shining!
